Burke, Virginia (USA) – The Pakistan American Business Association (PABA) signed an agreement with AmeriGas that will allow PABA members to get special discounts on the purchase of new grill propane cylinders, exchange of grill propane cylinders and propane in bulk.
The agreement was signed by Mr. M. Siddique Sheikh, Chairman PABA, and Mr. Rick Davis from AmeriGas propane. Mr. Keith Segerson, President of PABA, was also present at the occasion.
Under the agreement, the price for cylinder exchange for PABA member is $11.99. The price for full cylinder sale has been fixed at $39.00 (both with any applicable local and state sales tax).
PABA members will also get discounts on bulk purchase of propane. The purchase of up to 200 gallons will cost them $0.799 per gallon while they will pay $0.599 per gallon on the purchase of 200 gallons and above.
“This is yet another major benefit for our PABA members,” said Mr. Sheikh, adding that the Association was in talk with several other businesses and services to get similar benefits for its members. “PABA is striving hard to promote business linkages among its members and connect them to companies abroad, including Pakistan.”
AmeriGas will install legally required safety crash posts, on-site, at no expense with a new signed contract at each location. Each location will be responsible for their own permits and licensing. The agreement is effective from 20 May 2015 and is in effect for three (3) years.
Mr. Segerson, on the occasion, also announced a special discount for new business and individuals who wish to join PABA before August of 2015. “We are reducing the annual membership fee from $250 to $100 for the first year to help people join and become eligible for a string of benefits offered by various business outlets and services such as BB&T, Ashcraft Insurance, Merchant Grocery Wholesaler, Berliner Specialty Distributors, Nationwide Tire and Auto.”
“The earlier you join PABA, the earlier you can enjoy savings on PABA’s new AmeriGas discount program as well as discounts from many other participating partner companies,” Mr. Segerson added.
All those who want to join PABA can submit applications through www.pabausa.org.
Formed in 1986, non-profit PABA is working to promote business linkages between Pakistan and the United States as well as helping new start-ups and young entrepreneurs by providing opportunities for education, training and jobs to make the good citizens and future leaders.
